WHAT DO I DO AFTER I AM A MASTER SCUBA DIVER

 EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONDERin (EFR) you learn how to perform CPR, Rescue Breathing, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). You also learn about Basic First Aid and Site evaluation so you do not become part of the problem.

Emergency First Responder

MASTER SCUBA DIVERis the "BLACK BELT" in recreational diving. It is the highest recognition level that a recreational diver can achieve. Once you have your Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, five Specialty certifications and are a current First Responder you qualify to apply for Master Scuba Diver.

There are lots of choices when it comes to specialty classes.These classes go into far more detail about specific types of dives that have your interest. You may want in depth information on Night, Deep, Navigation or Buoyancy dives.There many more choices including our own DISTINCTIVE SPECIALTY in KAYAK DIVING.

SPECIALTY COURses

RESCUE DIVER is your third certification level. In this class you will learn how to locate a missing diver underwater, bring them to the surface and start rescue breathing. You will also learn the basics of self rescue. Read More

Rescue DIVER

ADVANCED OPEN WATER is your second certification level. Here you will take the skills you learned in your OPEN WATER class and apply them to actual diving situations. As an example in the Open water class you will learn how much weight you need to be neutrally buoyant, in the AOW class you learn where to position it for best effect. Read More


ADVANCED OPEN WATER

All our classes are performance based, you will get all the time and instruction you need to perform your skills properly. If you need more time in the pool to master any skill you will get more pool time .

We limit our classes to 12 new students and have extra Instructors and Divemasters on hand so you get all the personalized training you need.

OPEN WATER is your first certification level.

In this class you will learn all of the skills you need to dive safely. You will learn how to put your gear together properly, how to enter and exit the water easily, how to recover your regulator if you drop it and how to clear water out of your mask if you get water in. You will be taught the proper way to make ascents and descents. Buoyancy control will be worked on in all classes.

PADI OPEN WATER

Once you have achieved MASTER SCUBA DIVERthere is still more you can choose to learn. DIVE MASTER is the first professional certification level. If you want to hone your skills to the highest level,DIVE MASTER is the course for you. You will learn to perform your skills to demonstration quality, assist other dives who need to refresh there skills and control groups of divers.

There is still more to learn. You can become a DIVE MASTER or an INSTRUCTOR. It is all up to you.
